"I was saved at the age of 11 in July 1973 at my grandmother’s home in Martinsville Va. I have been serving as a minister of the gospel since April 1997. My doctrinal position is conservative Baptist, Pre-Millennial, Pre-Tribulation rapture. I received a diploma from the Piedmont Bible College in Biblical studies. Which equaled an associate’s degree in theology at Andersonville Theological Seminary. I entered off campus Studies at Andersonville Seminary in 2001 where I have subsequently earned a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Theology. I answered the call to preach the gospel in 1997 while a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Greensboro NC. Where Dr. Vernon Gales was the pastor and, under his guidance I began preaching in local nursing homes and the local jail. I was ordained in 2000 and began preaching in other churches as needed and in my home church whenever called upon. I have been pastoring for the last 20 years and it has been my honor to have been pastor here at Friendship Baptist Church since February 2022. This is a church that certainly lives up to its name.
